Dis donc! I just got back from a long weekend in la Suisse. I couldn't help but notice people use this charming expression quite often over there. It was great to be back (first time since '09!) and see all the old spots, but boy was it cold.
Even though April is coming to a close, it's been pretty chilly lately. It even snowed while I was in Zürich, making me regret not packing anything warmer than a trench coat.
I bought this beauty right after moving here and basically live in it during the fall and spring months. Shopping trips for me are rare, partly because going to the mall here on a Saturday is absolute chaos and partly because I'm a student with no income (again). So the few purchases I have made are everyday basics that I can throw on with anything, like a pair of black Chelsea ankle boots or this classic coat from Zara.
Moving here, I brought maybe one third of my wardrobe. For someone who has a tough time packing for a weekend trip, this task of narrowing down my clothing options for the next year, maybe even longer, proved to be quite challenging. Kara, the master packer, ruthlessly commented on my selection. Do you really need four black cardigans? When was the last time you wore those heels? How many polka dot items can one person own? Yes, never, and a lot.
In the end, I narrowed it down as much as I could and, much to my surprise, I really haven’t missed the other two-thirds of my closet.
